First off I am starting with my two main colors which I will be using for all my bows (This is not the complete palette, I added a few more colors later in the tutorial~)
Now my first bow is a very simple type of bow, yet very pretty!
You don't have to do it on the bangs, this is just where I decided to put it. Okay, so first choose a color you want and put them somewhere on the hair/wherever make sure it looks something like this
Next, I put a different color on top of those two to make a simple, but very cute looking hair bow!
Lastly, I shaded the bow to look like so:
On this next bow, I started out with a sorta look that looks kinda like glasses
Then I just added a string to it to create a bow!
And of course, lastly, I shaded it:
On this bow I started out with two 2x2 "dots" like so:
Next connect the two "dots" and add a string
And if you want then you can add a little pixel out if you want to
And for the outcome of the shading here are the two outcomes:
And if you want you can erase the middle pixel in the bow for these outcomes:
And a lot like the first bow I did, you can do this. You just do like a little L on the bangs or wherever and make it look something like so:
Then you can add a different color in the middle and make it look something like this:
and this is what it looks like with shading:
In this next one we are making more "dots" but this one is 3x2 instead of 2x2
Next, connect the dots by adding a pixel between them like so:
And then just shade!
And if you want you can add a string to it/or put a hole like so:
And the last one is based off sugarbun's bow one this skin and this skin
So this one is a bit different but just try to duplicate this base: (I started out with the 2x2 dot in the middle, then took the same color and drew it by each sides only expanding it one pixel on each side. With the last part you expand it again, only you expand the width of it. I hope this description helps!)
And just try shade it however you want, I tried to make it look somewhat like sugarbun's and came out with this: (I shaded the outside of the bow with darker shades of the color, and then for the middle I just used lighter colors to create some depth. In the middle 2x2 square I just chose one of the lighter shades, and did an "L Shade" where I placed the dot in a corner and took a lighter color between the lightest color and the darkest one.)
And that concludes this tutorial. I hope you understood me XD and please tell me what you think :)
