Alright! I'm gonna start doing interviews again, because they're really fun <3 Be sure to check MayaCookieGirl out, she makes amazing skins and is super sweet ^-^

Murphy: Aww yay :D I'll start with the generic questions XD How did you find MineCraft?
Maya: How did I find it? Well, a couple years ago, I remember my brother would always play it, and I'd sit in his room and watch him all the time. Since I wanted to play it too but he wouldn't let me lol, I decided to get it for myself and I've loved it ever since.
Murphy: That's awesome! I found MC through my brother too xD How'd you find PMC?
Maya: PMC? Well, about a year or so ago, a bunch of teen skinners from Skindex made a big move to PMC because we were fed up with all the crap that happened on skindex, and I personally found out about it through agapl00 (Felinka) who would post skins and then link to her PMC account in the description, if that answers your question. Before then, I'm sure I've visited the site a couple times, but never thought much of it.
Murphy: Oh cool! When you joined, why did you choose MayaCookieGirl as your username? ^-^
Maya: I was actually orgininally "-MayaCookieGirl-", but I chose MayaCookieGirl as my user because that was my minecraft user. I really don't like the long name, but it's fun to play around with cause like you can do Maya___Girl and stuff lol. As for why I picked it as my minecraft user (if you were wondering lol), my Pocket Edition username was MayaLovesCookies, so I decided to make a name out of that, even though I regret it///cri
Also, I've shortened my name to "Maya_" now in minecraft, soo my PMC user doesn't really match anymore
Murphy: Lol I like your username XD Are there any skinners that inspired you and brought you to where your skins are now?
Maya: That's nice to hear that you like it xD Any skinners that inspired me? Well, my inspirations come and go. At first, Felinka was my hero, even on skindex. She was someone I looked up to, and her skins were always my inspirations. I guess she could be classified as "senpai" during that time, because I would explode whenever she noticed me huehue. Later, I adored Oblivion(_Gamer)'s skins, because her technique was (and is still) amazing, and she is super nice and awesome. And as of now, my two biggest inspirations are KnobleKnives and Meggles. Meggles is now my senpai, because her originality and technique are both incredible. I've been a huge fan of her skins since I discovered her, and I've looked up to her always. Knoble is a newer inspiration, but I would scroll through his skins, and I just absolutely adored his shading and color choices so much. His skill is absolutely mind-blowing, and he is definitely someone I look up to.
Murphy: Yees! I love all of those people too lol. Where do you normally get ideas for skins from?
Maya: Hmm, it varies all the time. Usually, I just get them from my head. When I can't start up something, I'll either browse the site for inspiration, or go to the chat for ideas. When usually, all I get is "make me/my oc" or some other crappy idea, I'll often go to chat and ask for opinions/ideas on skins in progress. For example, my OC Xenia was kind of like a collab between me and Batgirl, because she gave me really cool ideas to make that OC look original and cool. Sometimes, I'm inspired by the music I listened to, or drawings/characters I've seen.
Murphy: Oo awesome! lol the chat is always fun though xD What's your favorite skin that you've made?
Maya: Ooh, that's a tough one. Generally, I like the skins that I post why else would i post them lol, but my favorite is probably a tie between my skin Axel (the one that was inspired by KnobleKnives), and "The Demon Inside". I had a lot of fun making both skins, and I love the color choices I used on both. I like the fact that they were original skins, and that's why I'm so proud of them.
Murphy: Oo I love both of those! If you had to choose, what would you say your favorite part of PMC is?
Maya: If I had to choose, I would say the PMC chat lounge. When I first started chatting, I felt like the biggest outcast ever, and even if I tried, I wouldn't belong. But now that I've become a regular in the chat, I've made lots of memories and friends through there, and the funniest/stupidest stuff goes on in there. Heck, earlier today we were talking about Elijah_Blu having OCD. We can even have sessions when we talk to each other about mental things like depression and stuff, and people can relate to each other, and that's what I love about it. Most of us only know each other on the site, and yet we're so close yet so far. But I've lost count of how many times I've laughed, or how many inside jokes we've made when it comes to chat.
Murphy: Awww yeah I agree ^-^ It's hard to get in with everyone but once you do it's just really great <3 what's your biggest goal on PMC?
Maya: My biggest goal, ever since I joined, is to be up there with the top skinners, but not as a teen skinner only. I want to be a hybrid skinner, someone who's skilled in making both teen skins and non-teen skins. That way, I can belong with the people like Allergy_Man, Atom, Insanity, Thezi kinda, you know, as well as the skinners like Panya, Oblivion, Felinka, etc. But I don't plan on getting there fast, I think it just happens naturally, and I plan on enjoying the progress. :)
Murphy: Aww that's awesome :D What hobbies do you have outside of PMC?
Maya: Outside of PMC, I love to draw (check out my art blog lel), watch anime, and read manga (currently reading Noragami). I also play on the keyboard sometimes. I've learned lots of the Fairy Tail melodies, as well as the Tokyo Ghoul season 1 theme song >w<. I also play basketball as a sport. Sometimes, I like to write little stories as well. I plan on writing one sometime soon ^^
Murphy: Awesome! ^-^ What advice would you give newbies on PMC?
Maya: Advice? I would tell them to take time and put effort into their skins, because that's how they'll really get noticed, and don't be an idiot. I'd also tell them to definitely check out the more social parts of the site, such as chat and forums, because you can find some really cool stuff and people there. You'll feel more like a part of the site, and even brush up on your skills. Well, that's what happened to me anyways. Last, I would definitely recommend participating in contests. It's fun to compete, and it helps you improve your submissions, because you need to make it the best you can be for the contest. Um, that's it.
Murphy: Now for the fun questions :D If you had one wish, what would you wish?
Maya: Yee, I like fun questions! :D If I had one wish? I would wish for ... UMMM ... for equality worldwide, because even though I've personally never been affected by it, I think people should never think of themselves higher or lower than someone else. It's not only racism/homophobes, it's just people in general I guess.
Murphy: Ayye that's awesome <3 What's your favorite genre of music?
Maya: I like a lot of music. My favorite would probably be melodic dubstep (basically not skrillex). But recently, I've been listening to nightcore rock-ish songs. I like some kinds of trap music, and some of rock, idk. I also love peaceful, calm music.
Murphy: Ayye awesome! and lastly, what's one of your favorite quotes? :D
Maya: Let's see... probably "Don't define your world in black and white, because there is so much hiding amongst the greys" -Unknown. And just for the luls, another quote, "Here's what I found on the web for 'Siri stop searching the web':" -Siri. Actually happened. Well, there you go :D
