Hello, 'tis LeDiamonddozen, congratilitions (I spelt that wrong on purpose) for finding this DiamondBlog Rant. As some of my older subscribers may know, I fancy myself one of the original ranters. I understand there are more before me, but, I don't mean to brag, I feel that I am one of the people who really brought ranting to a popularity craze. Obviously it's not as popular now, but it once was, because of people like me, SnowyLips, and Wazulu.
Anyway, today I'm going to do a rant about Watch_Dogs on the PC. Here we are!
Problems
It's not just me, there are people whose games are crashing, because of ridiculous things. Some people's games crash because the loading screen doesn't work, some people can't even log in to the game, because of UPlay. My problem, like I said in my Watch_Dogs First Thoughts, my problem is that it will play for like, 10 minutes and then the game will crash. I told my parents, they just thought that my computer couldn't handle it. I don't think that's the case, because my computer runs this game, perfectly at 60fps (when it works). Why would there be any problems?
Ubisoft
I found this to be absolutely hilarious. Apparently Ubisoft has had porting problems, before Watch_Dogs. Games like Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Far Cry, and Tom Clancy games have all had at least some problems on the time of porting. What I mean by porting is basically just, they code, and then they put it on a program of some sort that converts it to whatever console they need, every gaming company has this program. For some reason Ubisofts doesn't work. I don't understand why Ubisoft insists on putting out PC games if they know they don't work. However, another funny thing: games that are strictly PC, such as Trials Fusion, work perfectly fine. It's becoming rather obvious that, unless it's only for PC, Ubisoft tends to just try and get the game out. They really only care about XBox, Playstation, and, if you are playing Just Dance, and the Wii. This makes me so mad.
