Hello Diamond Miners, Diamonddozen here, and welcome to Vs: Games at War? I don’t know a slogan yet.
Last week Candy Crush Saga and Call of Duty were put up against each other. To my surprise, Candy Crush won. This week we are going to put up two of the greatest games I’ve ever played…Assassin’s Creed III and Grand Theft Auto V. I would have put Black Flag instead of three, but I haven’t had a chance to play Black Flag yet.
Assassin’s Creed III
I finally got my Playstation 3 last year for Christmas (and before any of you smart mouths say December 2013 I mean December 2012). This was the first game I got, and I loved it. The thought of being your ancestors from the past intrigued me. Then after Game Theory made a whole video about how the animus could actually happen I was even more intrigued. I began to play just to see how accurately they could get history, and it was amazing. People literally learned about different times in history during the Assassin’s Creed games and Assassin’s Creed III is not different.
The only thing I find bad about this game is that it’s hard. Although, that may just be me, because I am absolutely terrible at video games.
Grand Theft Auto V
I assuming this was voted game of the year, because it definitely was one of the best games in the year. The game has so much to offer. You can drive fast cars, shoot amazing guns, and the storyline. That storyline is beautiful. I literally could not speak after the story mode was finished. Rockstar had to have spent millions of dollars and hundreds of hours to write this amazing story.
Driving used to suck in Grand Theft Auto (in my opinion), this game changed it all. Driving no longer feels like driving a car with butter wheels on a road of ice. You can drive quickly without crashing and you can turn corners too! All in all I love this game it is definitely one of the better I have played.
