Long before the modern times of Malovale, the island country of Cathorcence was an environmental masterpiece. From the hollowed mountain of Rikh-Untaah to the volcanic mountain Ignitia and the hellish side-island if Desperatio, the lands went untouched for almost a millennium. Although it went completely untouched, one thing intrigued ancient scholars, and that was an underground "stronghold" that had no evidence of human contact. Nobody who ever entered this mythical structure never returned. Unfortunately, this was the story for the nomadic peoples known as the Rikhs. Their small colony suddenly went missing after their chief reportedly led them into the stronghold to hide from a great beast they called the "Malv'ahlu." Cathorcence went another millennium or so without any other civilizations. Until the Rikh chief suddenly appeared with a few of his tribe on top of a large pyramid in the middle of the desert. His tribe decided to settle in a nearby forest, building the massive city of Malovale, named after the beast that had chased them to the end of the world, but for a reason no soul has ever known.

This map is completely terraformed. It started out as a flatland and was raised using WorldPainter and WorldEdit. No part of this world has been copied from another world, or naturally generated. Caves aren't as common as before, but there are now large caverns instead. The map features a the main island, which has forests, a jungle, lakes, mountains, plains, a swamp, and a desert. There are also three other small islands which represent the End, the Nether, and a Mushroom Island biome. You can still go to the End and Nether as normal, as there is a portal hidden in a stronghold somewhere in the map. The Rikh-Untaah mountain is also a recommended place to mine due to the high abundance of ores. The rest will be for you to find out.
