This is a stripped down version of Cavernous Nether. This version will function within 1.16, as well as 1.17.

It includes the noise settings, the edited structures, as well as configured structures

I also included a version with a 256 height. Although it's not optimized so you may run into issues or bare bedrock in spots
There is also a compatibility patch for Incindium, based on the v3.3.1 version

In order to install or replace another nether related datapack's 'noise_settings' and 'dimension_type' where ever they are kept
CompatibilityMinecraft 1.16
toMinecraft 1.17

Greetings! I absolutely love this data-pack so far! Truely one of the best I've seen thus far and I'm extremely pleased with the results however, when moved to a server environment, I noticed some 'missing features'.

Compared to single-player, it seems this data-pack disables modded biomes on servers (specifically Better Nether <forge>).

I understand that this data-pack is a bit outdated considering it's 1.16 but it would be an absolute god send if you could allow a fix/patch for this issue, at least for better nether.

At any rate, I do humble/appreciate the work and love that initially went into this, great work!

Best Regards,

Cixon.

I haven't messed with java mods with my pack. The Strip-Mined version of this pack only touches the "noise_settings" and "configured_structure_feature" folders. If you're using the full version or parts of it than that can cause issue, like if the mod renames any of the vanilla biomes. Plus my pack only touches the vanilla biomes so modded biomes wont even generate.

I didn't get the "missing features" error when I tested with the stip mined version. My full pack doesn't function correctly in 1.16 due to some of the "features" using mechanics in 1.17. So if you have any files from that one. It could effect it.

If you're using the Strip-Mined version than there shouldn't be anything preventing the modded biomes from appearing.

If the problem ends up persisting let me know and I'll keep looking to see if I can fix it. But right now at least I'm not seeing errors with the Strip-Mined version. It's missing the feature changes I made, but it has the land generation and modified nether structures and their spawn sizes

I understand, it seems to me that it only apply noise to vanilla biomes which explains why modded biomes do not generate, I sent you a DM in regards to this issue.
