Welcome to my 1st blog!
I have had A LOT of people ask me how I get the rotating preview for my skins and it's a lot to type over and over again so I figured I would make a short tutorial. Here is the end result:
First things first, I use Novaskin to make these previewers and Novaskin is a BANNED SKINNING PROGRAM meaning it uses parts of other skins to make your skin (or something like that. Im not sure because I've never used it.) so don't EVER use it to make skins to post on PMC or it will be flagged and deleted and you'll probably recieve a ban. I personally use paint.net and mcskin3d and it works great for me. So let's get into it.
Why use a previewer?
I use a gif previewer for a couple reasons. Sometimes PMC gets a little buggy and the 3d previewer breaks. Some people don't have webgl, and even with the new formatting for mobile I personally am still unable to rotate the skin (on an ancient iphone 4s). Its also nice to put your skin right next to a reference picture so people know exactly what you were thinking when punching the pixels, increasing readability.
Go to Novaskin
There will be a Steve Skin already there so click the minus sign to delete that layer. It should turn into a grid.
Click the green open button on the left side and locate your skin file. The big green arrow on the right side is an ad. Don't click it.
If you see a grid over the pixels just hover your mouse over the background until it goes away otherwise your gif will have the grid over it. Click on "gif" on the right hand side and a drop down menu pops up.
Click "Capture 360."It looks like an arrow going in a circle. Wait a moment for it to load. It should look like this.
After it loads click "Generate gif." It looks like a play button. It will ask you "r u sure cuz this gon take a while?" Click ok and select the millisecond delay. This will make it rotate faster or slower. I always use the default 60.
It will say "generating" for a while then the gif will pop up. Right click on it and click save image as. Now you have the gif. Now lets work on putting it in the description of your post.
Make an account on imgur if you haven't already. There is a 225 image limit which I am rapidly approaching especially with this tutorial. Once your logged in hover over your name in the corner and click images. Drag and drop the file into the window.
Wait for it to upload and then click on it. Highlight the "Original GIF" link and copy it.
Go to your post and click "Insert Image."
Paste the "Original GIF" link and click ok.
You should see the gif pop up in the description immediately.
And your done! There is a posing option in novaskin (In the tabs on the left) so you can pose your skin before you make it spin but it is really glitchy so I wouldn't advise it.
This is my first attempt at a blog so I apologize for the noobiness.
Thanx for reading! I hope this was helpful.

when you use the Novaskin, you upload your skin to make this rotation preview... will you not this way give-away your skin to the novaskin database? If you know what I try to ask, sry for my english /facepalm
ill take it!!
