Far away on a distant world, is Planet Minecraft. A strange world, this Planet Minecraft, it calls to a singular community of Minecrafters who have banded together to create the greatest world ever. Join your friends in creating a massive city, or strike out on your own and make a quiet getaway. Battle fierce monsters in the rabid wilderness, or raise your flocks on a tranquil hill. These options and many more are available for those who have proven themselves worthy.

Before going too far, I recommend you head here to find a nice guide written by a server moderator on how to get started. It goes far beyond that this post offers.

What is it?

This server is a survival server that emphasizes teamwork and cooperation. There is no PVP on the server, and no teleporting or item spawning commands areavailableto anyone (not even the moderators). That being said, we have powerful anti-griefing plugins that will explain themselves when you place your first chest, so find a nice home location first. Additionally, we have a number of other secrets and surprises hidden amongst our plugins that are sure be fun. After a year ofpreparation, we are ready.

If you have reached level 5 already, or have more than 100 forum posts, go to My Account, in the Edit Profile area. Once you are there, you will find further instructions on requesting access to the server. If you are not yet level 5 or don't have 100 forum posts, do not worry; we have contests frequently that you can join to show off your creativity and gather some exp and you can also post anything else that meets our guidelines as well, and we encourage you to take part in the forums.

Are there any rules?

We do have rules on the server, which are explained in the spawn area. Not reading the rules is never an excuse for breaking them, so please listen to the signs.

Is there anything else?

We have a few secret goodies on the server, as well as the popular Dynmap plugin that you can use to see a world map.
