Thank God Notch Didn't put Rap music in Other than C418.
Because I hate it. Am I missing something? I just can't figure out why everyone listens to it and why it goes so fast.
Yes, I'm a girl, and typically girls now-adays do like rap music. It's funny because they just do it to try to be cool, and whenever they rap, it sounds stupid. But anyway, I just don't get (nor like) rap music. The drum kit is always the same, and I've even heard that it'll make your mood tank. I can guess that's true, since it is all about how they're young, wild, and free, which means if a student had liked the song, they'll get influenced. They'll think life is poop because they cannot 'be free' (from school). I actually got the information from the last sentence from a boy in 5th grade who was 11. A boy from the same class was singing the song about young wild and free, and said something about smoking weed. I thought about what to say for a minute, then approached him saying, "That song is a filthy lie."
"But it's true.", he had said, then making up another filthy lie he told me about how his cigarettes were in his sock drawer and how he'd commit suicide if I told anyone about that. I was disgusted. A kid has listened to rap music, sang it, thought about it, lied about it, and made me think about it.
Am I missing something about rap music?
