Reasons are why we do things, don't do things, and they are also how we make decisions. A reason is a way we find ourselves where we are, doing whatever we're doing. For example, what's the reason that you're reading this blog? It may just be,"Because I clicked on it." That is a reason. Now, I don't really want to try to give you a lesson on what reason means, but why to be specific with them, because they can help describe someone's personality very well.
What does this have to do with anything is exactly what you're thinking. It's to make people learn about you, (it's a very good way to be friendly- UNCLE!), and a way to learn about yourself. This is also a good way to learn about if you are really just following the crowd, or doing something just to be cool. (to people that want to commit suicide, why? is that logical?) You can think of reasons for lots of things, and they can also be used to see if you're doing things for people from they're appearance= (Why do you like that girl/boy?)
Anyway, they are a good way to know people. If you ask why, and someone says because I said so, you can immediately guess they're either dummies or they are boring. Reasons are the way you do things, or why you do things, and sometimes you need to explain them very well so someone can get to know you.
