The Huntington Yard, operated by the Esterlon National Railway (ENR), is the primary yard for the city. Located north of the Huntington International Airport adjacent to the F-405 Bay Freeway and south of the cities main port, the yard primarily serves the port, specifically autoracks, oil tankers, and intermodal freight. However, other freight from the surrounding areas is fed into this yard often before heading off to its final destination or the main ENR yard further south.

The yard was originally built with a twelve bay roundhouse and a three bay repair shop. Like many other yards around the world the roundhouse was eventually torn down to make room for the current repair shop. The new shop has seven tracks inside, five have inspection pits, and four are serviced by overhead cranes. Four of the tracks go straight through the shop and into a loading/unloading area used for storing damaged engines, rolling stock and scrap parts. The rolling stock repair shop is a newer addition to the yard and is part of a long term plan to use the Huntington yard for passenger coach storage.

The yard itself is comprised of the two tracks for the mainline, eight tracks for classification, and another six tracks leading into the yards facilities. The yards facilities include a:
- Engine repair shop with seven separate bays, complete with overhead cranes and a machine shop
- Rolling stock repair shop with three tracks
- Refueling platform with overhead inspection platforms and sanding towers
- Secondary refueling platform
- Office for personnel
- Garage for company hi-rail vehicles
- Separate substations for the repair shops
