The EMD GP9 is a four axle 1,750hp diesel-electric locomotive built by the Electro-Motive Division company from 1954 - 1959. These engines were the second of EMDs General Purpose line, hence the GP, and were offered along with the six axle SD9. EMD produced over 4,000 GP9s, including over 160 B units, during their production life. Many remain in service with shortline railroads and industrial operations with some Class 1 railroads using them as switchers. The immense popularity of the GPs caused EMD to open a second production plant in Cleveland, Ohio and the locos would eventually be given the nickname of Geeps.
Another small build in my railroad fleet, I built this engine a few years ago along with the SD7. It also recently received an overhaul as the design was pretty outdated and the outcome is much better I think. Much like my SD7 I have done a few variants of the GP9 including the cabless B unit. Union Pacific did buy a fair number of GP9s and I've always liked UPs paint scheme so I am in the process of building more UP engines going forward.

It impresses me because most people building stuff like this are using a larger scale.
This is like the original 1:1 one mincraft scale.
I hope you understand what I mean.
Great work
