Funny thing is, I barely use Google nowadays (and instead Firefox + uBlock), and when I do it's for something school-related because keeping bookmarks in sync is just more convenient for me.



Also, as a sidenote - pretty sure Google also has incognito mode, and you can use an adblocker (although Google said they do plan on getting rid of all the adblockers from the Chrome Web Store, so there's that.)
