This is a project that I have been planning to make for a long time now, but the reason I haven't started until now is because I didn't know how to get all the physics and mechanics set up. But now, I have much more knowledge about command blocks and MCEdit, making this map more easily possible. Also, the snapshot for 1.8 may be helpful as well, with the @e and /execute commands. These may be useful for making the enemies move in certain patterns, like in the actual game. For the different characters, I'm using custom armour as well as potion effects that correspond with the character. i.e.: Wario has a yellow hat, yellow shirt, blue pants (overalls), and brown boots, as well as having a boost in Strength. However, he will have Slowness. I was really stumped on the Power Stars until I realized I could use a scoreboard to count the amount of Stars a player has (I was originally going to use levels, but that didn;t work out too well)! I know, this has been a really long description, but trust me, you'll have lots of fun playing this map when it's finished!
