Hello Minecrafters !
Today I present you another modern house. I hope you won’t be disappointed because many people liked my last Mediterranean house; indeed this house is far smaller. Nonetheless, the biggest difference in my opinion between this one and other modern builds is that it is very vertical; modern build isn't only possible in an horizontale way. This is in this train of thought that I built my second modern house, the crazy mansion (avaliable on my PMC).
House presentation
I liked the quite original design of this one. This was the first modern house I built several months ago but with insight I had to correct a lot of mistakes I made, especially regarding the indoor. When I started this house, I had the idea of pipes of different colors getting tangled, a bit like the Museum George Pompidou in Paris, on a smaller scale of course. If I wanted to boast, I could have called this one “PIPES ”(#JustMinecraftThings)
Back in these days, cars didn’t exist and gardening was hardly discovered hence there is no garage and the garden is really basic :D. Still in the list of the “I was conscious of them” fails, the office on the roof is only accessible by an outdoor corridor, the gate is ugly and the fences are inexistent.
Eventually, it is a sort of winter house because you will notice that although there are many windows, the openings on the outdoor are quite rare. By re-furnishing this house, I tried new designs, let me know what do you think about it.
Nevertheless, try the levers at the back of the entrance you will notice that they’re actually working! Otherwise I did the rest of the redstone work by myself (that was much less complicated).
Don’t forget to update minecraft to 1.8 !
