A cathedral in neoclassical style. The build is largely inspired by sir Cristopher Wrens st Paul´s cathedral and especially his original plans for it. I also took a lot of inspiration from Pantheon in Paris and Helsinki Cathedral to name a few.

All of the pictures are renders and most of the textures are my own. I hope you enjoy!

Impressive work ! How do you light the interior in blender? Whenever I do interiors the shadows end up too uniform and lack definition lol

Thank you! Those interior renders are quite difficult sometimes. I usually use the same HDRI I use for the exterior shots as well and increase the world strength a lot. For windows I use a fully transparent shader and put in a light portal to reduce noise. Then I just rotate the world to align the light where I want.
Often I end up using large area lamps to mimic the sun and that also helps with the noise. To be honest getting enough light and managing the noise is a bit of a challenge for me. For the renaissance cathedral build I did a while ago I just removed one wall entirely and that way got the lighting I was looking for xD. Then just a bunch of photoshopping.

Thanks !! Great advice, i just tried increasing the world strength to like 30 and it looks really nice! I used to keep it at just 1 or less and relied on lamps, but it looked pretty artificial

Thank you! I really don´t know how much time in total I used to build this. I started it quite a long time ago and just built it every now and then until I decided it was done.
