With the removal of the default "Caves-only" world in 1.18, I present to you, Spelunker!

This datapack modifies the caves-only terrain from 1.17 and makes it feel like a much more spacious cave dimension! The cave terrain now spans from -64 to 128 with biomes like lush caves, dripstone caves, and normal caves generating. Certain cave features still exist like dungeons, mineshafts, amethyst geodes, and 1.18 ore distribution. Are you ready to take on the challenge of surviving in a dim and enclosed dimension filled with monsters and darkness?

BIOMES:

• Lush Caves: original lush caves biome filled with lush greenery and peaceful ponds of clay and dripleaves with axolotls.
• Dripstone Caves: original dripstone caves biome filled with towering dripstone pillars and populated with stalagmites and stalactites.
• Caves: custom caves biome with no cave features similar to caves with no biomes assigned to.
• Frozen Soul Chasms: custom caves biome covered in ice and packed ice with wandering souls hanging on the ceiling
• Honeycomb Quarters: custom caves biome covered in honeycomb blocks, hardened honey crystals (yellow concrete), and pulverized honey crystals (yellow concrete powder)
• Overgrown Dripstone Caves: custom caves biome that acts as a lush variant of dripstone caves
• Amber Resin Caves: custom caves biome covered in hardened amber (orange concrete) and amber crystals (orange stained glass)
• Ancient Roots Colony: custom caves biome covered in dirt, coarse dirt, rooted dirt, hanging roots, and huge mushrooms
• Enchanted Forest Caverns: custom caves biome covered in grass, amethyst blocks, enchanted trees, and enchanted flowers
• Sandblasted Oasis: custom caves biome covered in sandstone and filled with small groups of foliage such as grass, fern, sugarcane, cactus, bamboo, and glowing palm trees.
• Radioactive Fallout Caverns: custom caves biome covered in scorching lava deltas, charred blackstone, towers of ashfall with dead corals, and can occasionally spill out springs of toxic liquids.

Notes:

• Other overworld biomes do NOT generate, only cave biomes.
• The top and the bottom of the world is just bedrock, similar to 1.17.1 caves-only worlds and nether
• Spelunker is NOT compatible with any overworld world generation datapacks and mods. This includes Terralith, WWOO, Funky Flora, Lushnabler, and Chasms. Nether, end, and structure datapacks will probably work though!
