Have you ever been bothered by the fact potions are non stackable ? That having multiple ones is a real pain when exploring ?
Then this datapack is made for you ! It allows you to craft potion bags that can contain multiple potions at once without mixing them up. With this datapack, bringing potions with you is not a problem anymore, letting you explore even more of your world !
How does it works ?
It's simple ! First craft yourself a potion bag with 8 water bottles and a chest like shown in the image above.
Then simply pick up potions while holding your bag in the mainhand to store them in it. The bag will be displayed as the currently active potion.
The active potion is not the potion that you want to use ? Really simple : just sneak and swap hands. This will make the active potion change.
You want to improve the active potion ? Simple : drop the active potion with your dropping key and then use it as you want in your brewing station.
Is it compatible with other datapacks ?
In order to use this datapack, you need to unzip the downloaded folder and pick the version of the datapack you need.
This datapack should be compatible with pretty much every other datapack but I cannot guarantee it. It is at least compatible with my Inventory Improvement datapack that I recommend to check out if you want a better inventory. This datapack should be multiplayer compatible although I did not tested it in multiplayer. It has been tested and works in MC version 1.17.1-1.19.2.
I have an issue with this datapack, what can I do ?
If you find any bug or any feature that seems broken/not working as intended, please report them, it can only improve your experience.
By the way there are some known issues : you can use your bags like a normal potion (in brewing stand) but it will break them, so I don't recommend to do it. Secondly, when in inventory, don't click on other potions with your bag. This may result in a loss of either the bag or the potion.

Thanks for letting me know ! I changed the recipe but forgot to update the planet minecraft image. Sorry for the inconvenience. I'll fix it quickly.
The actual recipe is made with empty bottles instead of water bottle.

There is a limit to the number of potion the bag can hold and by default, it is set to 8.
Because of the third protection of the cc agreement, I don't know if this action of mine violates the agreement of sharing the modified work.
