KETKET'S SHOWCASES - DİSPLAY YOUR İTEMS İN STYLE!
Minecraft Quality of Life Datapack for 1.20 - 1.19.4 Latest Version
  • You can place any item you want inside your showcases with Ketket's Showcases datapack.
  • You can also use shift-right-click to paint the glass of your showcases with any color you like.
  • Moreover, you can change the floor of your showcases to any type of slab you want using shift-right-click.
  • You can get a redstone signal from your showcases depending on whether there is an item inside or not.
  • If your item has a special name, it will be displayed at the top of the showcase. You can toggle the visibility of the text using a name tag. Additionally, by using a glass pane, you can make the text display limitless.

Hey mate! Some items are being displayed backward like this on item displays. I hope Mojang fixes it.

Im not completely sure behind the scenes.

But placing showcases on trapdoors, fence gates, and doors and then attempting to put an object in them causes them to break off.

Is there a way to get around this? (im using another datapack which uses trapdoors for tables)

Hey! You can receive redstone signals from showcases when you place items on them. This triggers the trapdoors with a redstone signal, causing them to open. However, when the trapdoor opens, showcase breaks itself. It functions similar to a button placement mechanic. Unfortunately, I have no solution to fix it.

How do I disable getting a display case every time I log into my world?

Is it possible to change the recipe, without causing some adverse effects?

I did locate the JSON and as I know how to edit I am comfortable doing so. However, I am unsure if there was a specific reason for the recipe that may break things if I change this.

Wanting to switch to a stone pressure plate or maybe a stone slab which looks more like the end result. Of course, we will still be using the glass block, it just feels like the sticks do not fit the recipe.

Hi efe, loved the datapack! Just a question, is it possible to have the name of the item hovering above or have the shine of an enchanted item just like when putting in item frame?



Edit: The enchanted shine is there, idk why it wasnt there before this.

Hey! Thanks for the suggestion! Yes its possible. I'll add name displays next update. It has a few problems. When i fix it I'll publish it soon. The datapack is still in progress. I really appreciate for your ideas! Have fun playing.
