Hey guys!

Today I have decided to create for you a new series called mob facts. I will do one for every mob in minecraft. Today, we'll be covering SHEEP.

1. If you name a sheep "jeb_", it will start to change colors and become a rainbow sheep! Mojang have used this name because it is the name of one developer, Jeb's, username in minecraft. If you try to sheer the sheep, sadly, you won't get rainbow wool and just get whatever colour the sheep had before you named it.

2. There is a small chance (0.164%) that a pink sheep will spawn naturally. This is a funny little Easter egg added by Mojang. It is pretty pointless besides that you get free pink wool!

3. The growth of baby sheep can be slowly accelerated using wheat. Each use takes 10% off the remaining time to grow up.

4. When 2 sheep are bred with wheat, the game spawns a baby sheep or lamb. If the sheep that were bred have different colours (for example one is red and one is yellow), the baby sheep will be a mix of the two different colours (in this case orange). This is a cool way to get different colour wools without needing the dye.

5. Sheep can eat grass through partial blocks, and also while moving in minecarts.

6. When a sheep is spawned on a fence, it will not fall off the fence but it can move to any adjacent fences. You can make it fall off the fence by leading it off with wheat.

7. Sheep cannot fit through the gap if the 90 degree intersection of two fences is removed whereas the player (and most other mobs) can get through easily.

I hope you have enjoyed this short blog about sheep. I will be making blogs about other mobs soon in the future
