Some Nice Things I've Found

Hello again! or just hello if you're new here! i thought I might share some nice little art tricks and tools.

Color Mixer is an amazing website that can easily help you if you are having difficulty of trying to mix multiple colors, i highly recommend it, even if you aren't really an artist, you can still muck around with this cool site and just look at all the different colour mixes!

Coolors is a similar site to Color Mixer, this time it allows you to select from vast amount of things like color gradients as well as colour palettes which are randomly generated. I think it'd be nice for some kind of color challenge.

Brandon is an amazing and talented pixel artist who, even if he doesn't make MC skins, the tips he gives are brilliant for skins regardless, for example his video on Hue Shifting is really helpful and easy to learn for beginners! or maybe his PicoCAD Video, overall I'd just say absorb some tips from him, his videos had also helped me advance in terms of shading on skins!

PixiEditor is quite a nice and simple software for basic pixel art, although there can be other softwares which you may prefer, like GIMP or PixilArt, i still think this software is great for those who dont want it too complex, but not too basic either. It's a great middle ground for those who have basic ideas on how to do pixel art. It allows you to easily switch behind different colouring systems like color sliders or palette swatches! and all for the cost of $0.00! no paywall needed to access anything else, and unlike GIMP, its includes something that is shared with PixilArt, the ability to upload the image in different sizes, when you export it. It allows you to choose the image sizing of it rather than uploading it based on how many pixels was used in the image. To show you it's capabilities, check my previous blog which was about my Sentry Pixel Art, that's right, PixiEditor was used for it.
