Using an Enhancement Table you can use different items to upgrade gear.

These enhancements only work on vanilla items and items from this mod.

2 flawless red crystals = Sharpness 6 on a sword

1 flawless light blue crystal = upgrades blast protection on armor to level 5

1 perfect red crystal = adds level Crystal Affinity I to a book, or Crystal Affinity I and Efficiency VII to a pickaxe. Will also give Fortune III if Silk Touch is not present. Upgrade can be stacked on pickaxes 3 times, second time gives Crystal Affinity II and Efficiency IX, third time gives Crystal Affinity III, Efficiency XI and Fortune IV (if Silk Touch is not present)

1 flawless Charium = Power VI on a bow or Unbreaking IV on tools/weapons/armor

1 perfect Charium = Power VII on a bow or Unbreaking V on tools/weapons/armor or Mending on a book

Depth resistance potions or an Exploration Talisman is needed for layers 6 - 7, brew them with an Opal and Fire Resistance Potion

At least one piece of freeze resistant armor (such as leather) or cold resistance potions or Warmth Talisman are needed to survive on layer 6

Cold resistance potions can be brewed with a Fire Crystal Block and Awkward Potion

Put blast protection on your armor before fighting the Frozen Wither

Huge Puffballs cannot be hurt while their shield is up - use a Shield Breaker to remove the shield.

The Crystal Affinity enchantment adds a chance to drop an extra crystal (I = 12.5%, II = 16.67%, III = 33.34%)

Use JEI so you know how to do certain things and JER so you know where ores generate if you're having trouble with that. Also for other info like tool strength needed to break blocks you can use mods like this or this. You are automatically given all recipes added by this mod when you first join a world so you may not need JEI.

Other than mineshafts on the 1st layer, and the Nether, there is no wood below the Overworld, so bring plenty of wood with you. There is also not much to eat besides zombie meat on the 1st, 2nd, 6th and 7th layers so bring food.

If you are using Immersive Portals then travelling to and from dimensions will be challenging, consider building water elevators, railways, or using elytras. An elytra and tunnel is definitely recommended, as well as a pool of water to jump down into.

Exploration Talismans can be found in Golden Crates in castles on the 4th layer.

I do not know of any specific incompatibilities between this mod and other mods, however if you are using the 1.16.5 version with Immersive Portals then check here to see if other mods you want to use are compatible or not

At some point I'll probably add more mobs, and possibly more terrain features.

I should also add some way of getting wood in the new layers cause currently there's no wood below the Nether except for mineshafts and some structures.

Dimension stacking is not on by default, you will need the Immersive Portals mod and to enable dimension stacking, there is a tutorial on that here: https://qouteall.fun/immptl/wiki/Dimension-Stack.html it is quite simple to do.
