This datapack adds hydration into the game in the form of a very simple thirst bar.
How it works:
Jumping, sprinting, swimming and walking all use decrease your hydration (by different amounts) while eating foods such as stews and fruits, or drinking water will fill it up.
Your thirst bar goes down at different speeds depending on where you are. It depletes faster in warm biomes, or the nether and takes longer in cooler biomes.
Note: This datapack uses a resourcepack to show the thirst bar. The resource pack is required, without it enabled you will not see your hydration level (does not apply to mod version)

UPD: figured out
Did you include it in the modrinth page anywhere? If not, could you please upload it separately so we can use it?
The file labeled simple-hydration-data is the datapack and the file labeled simple-hydration-resources is the resource pack.
Alternatively, downloading the Mod version and using it on singleplayer or in both the server and the client will display the bar correctly.
