The PGM Hécate II (FR-12.7) , is a Standard Heavy French Anti Material Sniper Rifle that chambers the .50 BMG (.50 cal) round, which specializes in immobilizing heavily armed Targets with a 7 round detachable box magazine.

In Project Downfall, The PGM Hecate 2 is known as a tier 5 Standard French Heavy Anti Material Sniper Rifle that Chambers the .50 BMG Round in a 3 Round detachable Box magazine, the rifle deals 12 damage, one of the lowest damages for a .50 cal rifle, however, it is one of few .50 Cal Sniper Rifles that can take Armour Piercing rounds, which increase its firepower.
The Hecate 2, while on paper may seem like a rather weak and horrible Tier 5 Sniper rifle, especially when compared to its counterpart, the BFG 50, which does 16 Damage, at Tier 4, has some unique features that make it stand out.
Although this rifle has a lack of damage for tier weapons, this weapon has the unique feature of having a higher damage potential the further away from the shell flys. Keeping that in mind, many guns rather lose penetration and damage over distance, except for long-range weapons like the McMillian Tac 50.
The Damage is significantly increased from 12 to a maximum of 22, depending how many ticks the shell fly through the air (20 ticks= 1 second) due to the damage of the bullet being increased by 3 every tick it spends in the air. Not to mention that the bullet drop of this rifle is significantly lower than its counterpart, the BFG 50, or other rifles like the McMillian Tac 50, and CheyTac Intervention. The recoil on this rifle is also much more manageable on this rifle, and the light on fire is much more controlled thanks to the muzzle brake on the end of the rifle.
This is one of the few rifles however, that can take only 2 Attachments, a Laser, and a Ballistics Tracker. This lack of attachments is made up with the fact it's one of the most customizable guns in the game with accordance to skins, with over +30 different skins available for it.

All in all, the PGM Hécate II is a really good sniper rifle, that specialises in long-range engagements of over 60+ blocks. Not to mention with the bonus damage to vehicles, it is, by far, without a doubt, one of the best sniper rifles for long-range engagements, but does lack at shorter ranges.

Pros:
- High damage over long distances and pretty good bullet velocity allows for accurate and clean shots over longer distances.
- With recoil being manageable, it's able to easily be readjusted to shoot at other targets.
- A quick bolt allows for a quick and accurate unload speed.
- With the firelight being dimmer than many other sniper rifles, its harder to spot than most snipers.
- Damage bonus against vehicles makes it specialised in immobilizing and stopping armoured targets.
- Ability to take armour piercing rounds, which make the rifle much more effective at close quarters ranges.
Cons:
- Low damage closeby makes it awkward for firing at close ranges.
- Weight of the weapon makes it rather hard to move around with.
- Accuracy while not being scoped in is rather bad.
- Bullet drop while not so bad, is still however noticeable
- Recoil while not super bad, is still worse than many rifles.
- A 4 second reload between magazines (5 seconds with Armour Piercing Round attachment) take rather long between firing at targets.
- 3 shots in the magazine can amount to frequent reloads during engagements
- Lack of attachments does not allow for many of the weapon's weaknesses to be changed.
- A rather rare and expensive rifle makes it rather uncommon compared to many of its counterparts.
Summary:
All in all, the PGM Hécate II is a really good sniper rifle, that specialises in long-range engagements of over 60+ blocks. Not to mention with the bonus damage to vehicles, it is, by far, without a doubt, one of the best sniper rifles for long-range engagements, but does lack at shorter ranges.
