But actually applying the template to preexisting skin on ios is a bit more complicated, but should be possible with Blockbench: https://www.blockbench.net/
Just use the Web app and create a new skin model, when you're at the Create Minecraft Skin menu make sure to have "Layer Texture" selected and also select the skin texture that you want as the base, and import it.
Now once you've hit "confirm" and are in the main editing menu with the 3D preview of the skin, click on the Texture button at the bottom of the screen and add the sculk template as a separate texture.
And then finally, with the Sculk texture selected go over to the next "Edit Texture" menu (It should be right next to the "Textures" menu at the bottom) click the Tools drop-down at the very top, select the copy and paste tool and cut the whole template texture. Once you've done that select the base skin texture that you have and click paste!
Apologies if this is a bit over-complicated. Hopefully this works out, and feel free to ask if there are any more questions!
It may take a little bit of editing the original skin for it to look its best
