The TIE/sf space superiority fighter was a Special Forces variant of the First Order's TIE/fo space superiority fighter. It was equipped with heavier fire power in the form of a lower heavy laser turret which was also equipped with mag pulse launcher along with the standard twin laser cannons on the chin of the fighter. The TIE/sf also had a Shield Generator for extra protection and a hyperdrive for greater operational range. Crewed by both a Pilot and a Gunner the TIE/sf was a formidable fighter and improvement of the standard TIE with its Sensor and Weapon enhancements giving the starfighter a greater edge in battle.
