The Emperor's Royal Guard TIE/ln Space Superiority Starfighter or simply just the Royal Guard TIE fighter were modified TIE fightersutilised by Emperor Palpatine's Royal Guard for combat or for escorting the Emperors Lambda Class Shuttle. Coated in the same all red paint job as the Royal Guards TIE Interceptors, the Royal Guards TIE Fighters symbolised the most Elite of the Elite in piloting skill and combat training.
