For about 1-2 years now I have been working on and off on this project. The design and idea comes from the cartoon Avatar: The Last Airbender and is featured in a few episodes in book 3. The build so far consists of 8 upside down pagoda like structures made mostly from stained clay and stone brick. Besides the 8 pagodas there's a main balcony with a fountain in the center, 2 ledges with 3 statues on each and various bridges between the pagodas and balconies. The ravine itself is around 1000 blocks long.
The goal with the project was to do the cliff with world edit and build the actual temple itself in survival. However, after a while I got bored of the project and stopped working on it. It wasn't until recently that I decided to get back to working on it but with the use of creative this time. As of now I doubt I will continue on this project as it has gotten so large and intense it causes small amounts of lag when playing on it.

New discription, new pics, doubled the size of the build by adding another 4 pagodas. All the statues have been completed and so have the balconies.

I also really wanted to see this builded!
I actually had to build the pagoda right side up on the ground first to see how big it would be so I could measure how far down from the cliff overhang the tip of the pagoda would be.
I'm spending most of my spare time working on it, and it will hopefully be done soon. I update the post almost every day, so stay tuned ;)
Already collected 250 gold blocks for the temple and still need loads more lol. It's just going slower since I'm building it in survival, but I prefer to do it that way as I will be more satisfied with the end result. Also, I could make it more detailed, but I don't wanna stray too far from the source material.
I could have made it bigger to make the size more accurate but unfortunately, bigger isn't always the better.
