On the occasion of the Play'N'Build contest and the release of Minecraft on PS4 and PS Vita, four building teams of the french Minecraft community (as known as New Heaven, UcanCraft, Language Craft and ThaekCorp) have reunited on the french WebTV GamingLive. Each one of them has reproduced a Sony VideoGame in three weeks: Infamous, God of War, Uncharted, or Ratchet & Clank. ThaekCorp and ten builders (picked from the public for the occasion) chose Ratchet & Clank, developped by Insomniac Games.

In this map, you'll find among other things the Ratchet organic, that won the first challenge of the contest and got printed in 3D as a reward (see pic), but also the Qwark sculpture and a customised cover of the game ; all created for the event throught many different challenges that were given. Mostly, you'll see four different biomes : Metropolis, The paradise zone, The snow zone and the Hell zone. The team wished to keep that authentic side, faithful to the original design of the game, and has also dispersed organics of many emblematics characters of the game through the map to add a dynamic side.

The map-making team ThaekCorp reached the second place at the competition, and is proud to finally present its first creation after 3 weeks of hard work.

À l'occasion du concours Play'N'Build et de la sortie de Minecraft sur PS4 et PS Vita, quatre équipes de construction francophones de la communauté Minecraft (à savoir New Heaven, UCanCraft, Language Craft et ThaekCorp) se sont réunies sur la WebTV GamingLive. Elles ont chacune reproduit un jeu emblématique de Sony en trois semaines: Infamous, God of War, Uncharted ou Ratchet & Clank. La ThaekCorp et dix builders recrutés du public pour l'occasion ont choisi Ratchet & Clank, développé par Insomniac Games.

Dans cette map, vous retrouverez entre autres l'organique de Ratchet, arrivé premier lors du premier défi du concours (à noter qu'une statuette de l'organique à été imprimée en 3D pour l'occasion, image au dessus) mais aussi la sculpture de Qwark et une jaquette du jeu personnalisée ; tous créés spécialement pour l’événement à travers divers défis. Vous pourrez surtout visiter quatre univers marquants inspirés directement de la saga comme Metropolis, le biome paradisiaque, le biome neige et le biome enfer. L'équipe a souhaité garder un côté authentique et fidèle au niveau du design, aussi bien dans la construction que le terraforming, et a également dispersé des organiques de plusieurs personnages emblématiques du jeu sur toute la carte pour y ajouter un côté dynamique. Des grands buildings de Metropolis à l'arène de la galaxie, redécouvrez l'univers de Ratchet & Clank, sur Minecraft.

Arrivée deuxième lors du concours, l'équipe de map-making ThaekCorp est fière de présenter sa première création au grand public après trois semaines de travail intensif.
