Lilypad Islandtaking Lilypad to another dimensions
Lilypad ecopolis or Lilypad Island is inspired by Vincent Callebaut Architectures.
The island has a huge diameter of 600 meters and is 234 meters high.
The amount of 98,724,096 (yes - near 99 million!) blocks were build by just a few persons with Lirinvar as head architect within 11 months on two servers.
Also, it's well featured:
- 3 XXL-cinemas with over 100 seats each
- Night-club with 6 vip lounges, kitchen and dinettes
- A huge underground park with streams, bridges, forests and rocks
- 25 plots for houses
- Multifunctional portal tube with dozen of possible portal types
- Two hightowers with 250,000 squaremeters usable space each
- One widetower with 1,250,000 squaremeters
- Secret rooms and hidden places with eastereggs and stuff
- and many, many more...
Lilypad was build by hand (no worldedit/voxelsniper used), every block was placed by hand in creative mode by 40 players. The last 5 months, Lirinvar worked again alone at all buildings and the interior.

Lilypad IslandEin Projekt, welches neue Maßstäe setzt und in solcher Form noch nicht in der Minecraft Welt existiert.
Lilypad ecopolis bzw. Lilypad Islands wurde inspiriert vom Architekt Vincent Callebaut.
Die Insel hat einen gigantischen Durchmesser von 600 Metern und ist 234 Meter hoch.
Insgesamt wurden von rund 40 Spielern 98.724.096 Blöcke innerhalb von 11 Monaten per Hand auf zwei Servern gesetzt.
Außerdem hat es zahlreiche Features:
- 3 XXL-Kinosäle mit über 100 Sitzen pro Saal
- Ein Nachtclub/Discothek mit 6 VIP-Lounges, einer Küche, sowie diversen Tischen und Essgelegenheiten
- Ein riesiger Untergrund-Park mit Bächen, Brücken, Wäldern und Gebirgen
- 25 kaufbare Grundstücke
- Ein Multifunktions-Kern mit Portalen zu diversen weiteren Städten und Welten
- Zwei Riesentower mit 250.000 Quadratmetern Grundflöche pro Tower
- Ein breiter Megatower mit 1,25 Millionen Quadratmetern Grundfläche
- Versteckte Räume und Etagen mit Easteregs etc.
- und vieles, vieles mehr
Lilypad wurde komplett per Hand gebaut (also kein WorldEdit, kein Voxelsniper o.Ä.) wurde eingesetzt. Jeder Block wurde im Creative-Modus von den knapp 40 Spielern unter der Schirrmherrschaft unserer Architektin Lirinvar gebaut.
Die letzten 5 Monate vor Fertigstellung arbeitete Lirinvar nochmals alleine an allen Strukturen und Einrichtungen um diese zu verbessern und zur Wahrung eines einmaligen und stets wiedererkennbaren Stils.
