Conoco Fields Standoff: Aircraft Mobilization
7th and 8th of February, 2018
Also named Battle of Khasham, was standoff between American special forces in Syria and group Wagner PMC unfolded after the russian mercenaries crossed a deconfliction line, heading to a gas plant defended by U.S Troops, near city Deir ez-Zor.
American troops were heavely outnumbered by their enemy until deployed aircraft from an Air Base in Qatar arrived to storm hell on the invading forces. At the end there were no cassualties in the U.S troops, and around 200 russian cassualties (number was never confirmed)
The first of the aicraft made to arrive the situation were the Fighter jets; F-22 Raptors and F15e Strike Eagles, that focused artillery and mortar positions. Then came the B-52s with massive fire power. At last the AC-130 Gunship which provided help to the ground troops until the end of the battle.
