Here is a mod that adds some structures. Abandoned villages and ruined bell towers. You can find in these ruins chests containing various objects, even diamonds ;D

-Addition of 3 new structures each divided into 3 different versions, so 9 new structures!

They have as a particularity that the buildings have fire marks with notably the placement of darker wood blocks to imitate burnt wood.
Of course, these villages also contain salvageable objects ;D

Wow it's great, and having the old village structures mixed in with the greenery gives a nostalgic feeling.

Well, most of the ruins look like they were just neglected for a long time mostly. They can be destroyed in other way perhaps. Like if say a village was abandoned after say a Pillager Raid. I imagine such a thing would involve collapsed walls, burned homes and such. Like instead of remnants of an Oak Wood roof there wouldn't be as much wood left and some could be Spruce or Dark Oak since it was "burned" at some point

But that's just an idea
