Depends what version you're using. 1.8 pvp... just combo people out by clicking and moving forward at the same ime.

I generally run into melee players then turning around to do a backstab. Often times, it works for me.

Just run around taking hits and eating golden carrots. Then when they get bored and start to walk away blow them up with an end crystal.

Keep your sounds high so that you can hear footsteps behind you, keep subtitles on, watch out for bow-users (those guys are deadly if you don't know how to fight em)


While fighting bow-users, NEVER run to them in a straight line. They can spam arrows pretty fast. If you're bridging, do a slow but safe bridge, build railings to make sure you aren't thrown off and try to build a wall to block arrows. When advancing on flat ground, spiral inwards until you're close enough.

Larger crosshairs mean more chances of winning.

Practice keeping your cross-hair on the person you're trying to kill.

Well, firstly don't get a "FPS boost" texture pack because they do nothing, and some might even do the opposite and slow down your computer. If you're FPS is low then get a 8×8 texture pack or lower, and turn down your Minecraft graphics from fancy to low. If you want tips then I suggest getting a texture pack that highlights ores, or texture packs that show a weapon's enchantments.
