Hello! Today I've recreated my old Gravity Guns creation. The old version was honestly really useless, however this new version can pick up and throw mobs like you would expect!

Note: This comes with another data pack for custom crafting bundled inside the .zip file. Make sure you install both.
Also, OptiFine is required to see the custom textures.

Crafting:
To create a diamond crafting table, throw a diamond on top of a crafting table.


Inside of the diamond crafting table, you can craft a Gravity Gun with the following recipe:


Tutorial:
To use the Gravity Gun, simply hold right click. This will pick up any mobs in your line of sight (note: only entities that have AI can be picked up, not armor stands or items). To bring a mob closer to you, hold sneak. To launch a mob, simply hit it with the Gravity Gun. All of this is demonstrated in the video:


It may be simple, but it was another great learning opportunity for me, since almost all features of this creation use a command or technique that I previously haven't used. I have a bigger creation coming soon!
