In this new and exciting data pack, you will find tool variants for Amethyst, Obsidian, and Emerald. You will also find a new weapon, disguised as a tool you know and love. The Scythe for each variant will add 10 seconds of wither to any mob struck, to simulate bleeding. Being disguised as wither means that this imitation of bleeding will not affect the wither, wither skeletons, or the ender dragon. Now, about what differs between the variants. Amethyst, a prized gem amongst royalty and hearty Greek culture alike, endowing your tools and weapons with this pretty, but unexpected gem will grant greatly increased speed. You'll be digging, mining, and wood cutting at an alarming rate. Emerald, and the color this beautiful Beryl takes has always been related to good fortune. So it comes as no surprise that this unique gem will give your weapons and tools some good luck. Weapons will have looting beyond possible in vanilla, and the same for tools and fortune. However, the shovel will have a different kind of luck, that of the Silky kind. You guessed it. Silk Touch will automatically be applied to the Emerald Shovel. Now, let's talk Obsidian. This volcanic glass is known to be extremely sharp. So sharp, in fact, that it can make precise, clean cuts to a near-atomic level. There's just one problem. It's extremely brittle. That is why this tool is endowed with extreme sharpness buffs, but only has the durability of a golden counterpart. If only there were some magical way to allow it to regenerate its powerful cutting edge ;-). Obsidian weapons are capable of killing an mob weaker than an Enderman in just one swing. The tools are able to excavate in 3x3x3 areas. Great for starting that diamond strip mine. Due to its sharpness, the Obsidian pickaxe can mine at the same level as diamond, but as mentioned, this OP tool comes at a cost.
