Hey guys! I know I haven't been on this site for a year or two :P, but i just started playing Minecraft again and thought I would be idiotic enough to go back to this site and make a tutorial. I am, so lets get right into the neeeeeeewssssss blog post!
/title is a command that requires a little bit of skill in commands. Unfortunately, I am no Sethbling, so I'll try my best.
First, you are going to need to put /title (@a, @p, @e) to make sure who gets the announcement. @a for all players (recommended), @p for the nearest player (useful for secrets and hints on a map in multiplayer), @e for all ENTITIES (pretty much the same as @e except to spectators and mobs, too I guess), and @r for a random player (multiplayer only, I guess it could work as a casino/luck machine).
Next, you will need to put /title (@a, @p, @e, @r) title {"text":"inserttexthere","color":"insertcolorhere","inserttypehere":true}
Yes, it looks complicated, but the easy way to put it is by showing an example. Hope it clears up confusion. NOTE: Be sure to put quotations over every part except true!
Example: /title @a title {"text":"Title Tutorial","color":"blue","bold":true} The result should be the picture of the post. The last thing I have to say is that there is a website that helps make titles, making the post almost useless :P. Anyways, it has cool features like bold, strikethrough, that really weird cryptic thing, and italics. Colors and even special characters included! Click here to go there: Title Generator.
