(Read In Morgan Freemans Voice)

Fellow PMC Members and Staff. I type this blog today for one reason..and one reason only. Let us start from the beginning. We all (Well, not all, but most) want to see PMC succeed, and we all (again, most) want to see it last long into the future. And, as long as we keep contributing to the community, this website, shall indeed, live on. But we, as members of this fine community, have challenges that we must face.

As PMC grows, more people start flooding the forums. Many are new people that could have JUST joined PMC, and maybe Minecraft itself. They either choose to do one of two things.

(1. They carefully read each and every one of the rules, so that they may contribute to the community, and not get in trouble at the same time.

OR

(2. The choose to completley ignore the rules, and post at random.

Sadly, most users go with the 2nd choice, and thus, the choice leads to a argument with the Staff, and eventually, and all out conflict. This leads to the following.

A user argues with the staff, and manages to make a huge scene for a small thing, such as one of their submissions being removed. This usually leads to the moderators handling the situation, but the member still may feel that they are treated unfairly. They may start to think that the Staff are just some greed, power hungry, idiots, who dont care about the website, and just like being mean. In reality, the Staff are trying to keep the community clean, and are trying to help it improve.

Don't you see? We are tearing each other apart! The staff are trying to bring us together and have a relationship with the members, but it seems that we are are distancing ourselves from them. What we need to do is join together (hand in hand if you must) and be what this website was designed for. A community of minecrafters that hang out. You see, all of the mods dont hate us! Infact, they want to have a better relationship with the members.

Quoting a member of our website, vaxivop where he responded on my post to the PMC Moderators.

"While this post is very good, it's also kinda sad. Don't get me wrong, the post itself is great, the sad part is the fact that we need to say this.
It's sad that it isn't obvious that the Moderators are not "complainer-bots" and have lives too. It seems some people fail to realize what the moderators really do :/"

If you read that, and feel the same way, realize that you're not alone. Many people think the moderators are great people! Well, except Jesuitical:

" don't agree with this thread. I think we're all jerks who have nothing better to do but delete submissions we don't like because we're jealous of them."
