Hello everyone who is reading this. I was like to introduce you to a new type of minecraft server. It is a branch off Coffecraft and Minecon Server Edition. Minecon was a huge event dedicated to the players of minecraft. There is a real life Minecon every single year in different place around the world. If you're like me, you don't have the money to buy a trip to Minecon. Luckily, they made an event called Minecon server edition, or MSE for short. Which is Minecon, but in server form! We want to give a big thanks to Coffecraft for the idea of making this a 24/7 server, and for making it come to life. We also want to thank Enchanted Universe for a server to build it on.
In the beginning there was a server. A server that was dedicated to players having a fun time. Recording videos, being in videos, sharing stories, playing minigames, building, meeting new people. But then, a big bad server owner deleted all the files, and losing all of his players. Quickly, the Co-owner and staff members told everyone to leave, and save themselves. The server quickly failed and shut down. Since then, a team have been working on creating a new maps, new games, and more. Lucky for us, the team was successful. Their hard work paid off, they got players, and earn a few bucks. Or, at least that's what we hope happens. The beginning part is true. His name was Q59, a horrible man.
You can expect a dedicated team the when there is problem, we find the problem and try to fix it as fast as possible. A team that is happy to work for the server, because we want to see our players having a good time. Our team that enjoys and appreciates helping on a server. A professionally hosted server for the best of time.
You can expect to us to have as less rules as possible. We try to get our rules below 4. The reason we can do this is from the power of plugins, and the type of server we host.
You can expect us to have a 0% chance of lag on this server, and 99.9% uptime. From our favorite server provider, Hosthorde. Hosthorde gives us the ability to buy reasonable priced servers with over 12GB RAM. If you need a server, buy it from them! (We are in no way affiliated with Hosthorde.)
There are lots of events you can do in this server. One event which is designed for everyone, is exploring or creating booths. Booths can be used to advertise. Advertising can consists of a lot of different things. You can use them to advertise anything you’d like. A YouTube channel, a Minecraft server, or even your website!
Another event that we offer is minigames. We will have, parkour, hunger games, the walls, and a few custom made minigames!
Now, maybe that isn’t your choice of game play. That’s ok, because we have other event you can do! We have multiple contests every week. Building contests and more. We also enjoy watching people building and seeing awesome ideas come alive, that we have creative plot world! Each plot will be 80x80.
Depending on how well the server plays out, we might even get survival with a twist!
Here’s the answer short and simple, yes. Economy is used for multiple things. Buying kits for minigames, buying more plots, advertising on signs near spawns, and more! If we ever get survival, it will be used for that shop as well.
The economy will be using coins. The coins will be kept at low. Kits will be around 10 coins.
What Minigames will we have? We will have around three in the beginning. We will have kit PvP, Parkour, and spleef. With minigames, you will earn coins.
Coffecraft has been around for 4 years. We have hosted lots of servers. All ending up failing due to the fact that we used the same idea as so many other servers. We have learned a lot over the years. Plugins, people, and more.
Due to the kind of server we own, we hardly have to set rules. We can manually shut of what we don’t want. We don’t allow swearing, advertising, or spamming.
There are two owners of this server. Mop8899, and billy3479. We have known each other for two years in real life. We both enjoy playing video games, meeting new people, and recording games for YouTube.
Mop8899 enjoys making let’s plays, live action shorts, drumming in his band, and playing Minecraft! Mop8899 has 3 and a half years of Minecraft server hosting. He has hosted multiple servers, modded and non modded. He really loves creating, managing, and helping new server owners.
