-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Knowing your enchantments on weapons

Knockback I-II Knocks the enemy back. The higher the level, the more knockback. levels 1-30

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Melee combat
Circle around the enemy.
Always jump in combat, for critical hits, doubles damage.
While hitting, block at the same time if the target wants to mirror your attacks. Halves the damage.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ranged combat
If in close range, put the pointer ON the head.
If player is melee as well, spam arrows not fully charged to keep him away.
If target is moving, always get a sense of where his radius is, and always aim a bit ahead.
Always move at least 5 blocks after a shot, in different directions each time.
Never come near your target. keep a distance of minimum 10 blocks.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Running from melee combat (applies for chasing too)
If you are low on health, it is time to run away.
Sprint AND jump. It is 3x faster than sprinting normally.
If in a 2-block high environment, spam spacebar. You get a SUPER BOOST.
If you have a bow, turn around in a sharp movement, and charge it fully, and fire.
If you have splash potions of harming, slowness, poison, or speed, USE THEM. Never throw speed at enemies.
To throw potions while running without stopping, just throw it while sprinting. NOT JUMPING.
Run into other people if you can, or dangerous environments where you can knock them into.
Press F5 twice to look behind you, and press again to go back to first person. (Normal view)
If have flint and steel, leave a trail behind you here and there. Slows the enemy and does damage.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Running from ranged combat (applies for chasing too)
Sprint AND jump.
If in 2 block area, spam space for a BOOST
If have speed potion, use it
Turn around in a occasion and shoot for a shot
Run in a zig-zag movement to dodge arrows
Flip in melee combat in an occasion for extra hits
Leave a trail of flint and steel if you can
Press F5 twice to check behind you without cutting sprint to look behind you
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ocean/water combat
Always try to get below the enemy for farther reach.
Use the fishing rod (if you have one) to knock enemy back if low on health
Use RANGED combat if target is running
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Axes do no extra damage to armor without plugins such as MCMMO. This is a common myth around the PvP genre of servers.

Also blocking while attacking may seem like a good Idea, it cuts your attack speed in half... halving the amount of damage you deal over the course of the fight. This technique should only be used if you have weak armor but a strong sword ... if even at all.

However I do appreciate you postin on an slightly original topic and support your support for PVP!

Then maybe you could advertise that somewhere in your article instead of misleading your readers...

You could have said in the specific context in which you where talking about axes that axes only break armor faster when a plugin that allows it to is used, otherwise it seems you are just referring to normal PvP. On top of that your title could have been Minecraft Survival Games PvP Tips.
