Hello Pixel Punchers and Painters, today I decided to write a blog about the Pros and Cons about Planet Minecraft and The Minecraft Forums.
The Minecraft Forums (Pros):
Supported by Mojang, Featured on the Minecraft Launcher.
Nice and Neat Forums organizing.
Quick updates about Minecraft and Mojang news.
Hosted by Curse.
Usually always up.
Planet Minecraft (Pros):
Partly supported by Mojang.
Has a great Moderation team.
Strict but reasonable rulebook.
Community Contests and Events.
A Chat Room, Forums, Minecraft Server, and a Main site for Uploading.
Little amount of ads.
Amazing community.
The Minecraft Forums (Cons):
Bad Moderation Team/Offline staff.
Appears to be laggy for many users.
Has lots of ads.
Requires a login to Curse to access.
Bad rulebook (Hacking downloads allowed)
Planet Minecraft (Cons):
Somewhat slow.
Downtime (Guessing) 25%.
Buggy coding.
So, as you can see there are more pros, and less cons about PMC. Please leave your opinions in the comments. Some of this is my opinion. If you find anything above to be unfair, please let me know and I may add it. Thanks for reading, and keep Punching those Pixels!
