Hello guys! This is another blog from me! In this blog I will show ya how to make your item's colored name! For me in this way is the fastest and without bugs or something, so hope I helped you!
Now, Let's do this!
Step 1:
Download NBT Explorer
Also to do this, of course you must download NBT Explorer. If you have it already, just go to step 2.
Step 2:
Now go to Minecraft and go into your world. Choose the item you want to make it's name colored and drag it into your inventory. It doesn't matter where you will drag your item, so.. After this get an anvil and rename it whatever you want - for example the name you want to be colored.
Step 3:
Quit and save your world, but if you want don't close Minecraft, just let the game. After this open NBTExplorer and there choose your world. After it the file 'level.dat', scroll down and find the button/folder "Player" and click it.
Step 4:
After you clicked on Player, scroll down again and find the button "Inventory". You'll see several folders (or one, if your inventory is empty and there's only the item you choose...). Click on the folder, that have 5 Entries. Actually this is the folder for your choosed renamed on anvil item. After this click on the folder 'tag: (number) entries' and click on the other folder 'display' and then you will find a button with the name, that you renamed on the anvil
Step 5:
Now you're almost done! Just click on the button with the item's name and you can change it whaterver you want. If you want to use colors, of course, just hang on in Google and type in the search 'Minecraft Color guide' and click on the first link. Instead of the symbol '&' use this symbol - § . And after you renamed the item, click 'OK' and then save the changes (the purple button on the left top corner) and now you can close the NBTExplorer. After this go back into your world and see your item with the new colored name!
The Color Guide, looks like:
For the last step:
Tadaa:
I hope I helped... Again? xD Also for the steps, actually you can rename several items in one time, so.. Don't worry! :) Just it will have several folders and you just must from the id to guess who item you want with what item. And of course, (for me) in that way to make my item's colored name is very comfortable. Also you can make another things in this method, so... enjoy :D
In first time might while you following the steps, you will made this for unless 5 minutes, but when you remember the steps, it will take a minute for you :)
If you like this tutorial, don't forget to give a diamond! If you have questions, just post a comment with them!
Peace.

I am just saying since some hacked clients come with that mod.
Anyway, just if someone use mods for this, just use them instead of this method on this blog, I just write this blog mainly for programmers
