Hello fellow Planet Minecrafters!

Recently I have noticed that when I browse the internet or here for skins, the majority of girls skins have the same bangs - I think you know what I'm talking about. I'm talking about these:



"So?" - you ask, "What's your problem with it?!"
My view is that these bangs are cliché and overused. The majority of girl Minecrafters have these bangs on their skin, and it doesn't show their personality or style. The hair on a skin gives it character and dimension, and shows who you are.

"So now what? Without them, my skin doesn't look like a girl!" - you exclaim indignantly.

I have a solution in the form of a selection of different bang styles for you all, every one of them is created by me.

Here we have:

Slightly cropped side-bangs:



These are ideal for if you want your skin to have a slightly different hairstyle but still want to keep the side-bangs. They are slightly shorter and covers less of the face.


Grown-out bangs:



These bangs are one of my favourites and I used it for a while on my skin. They are similar to average side-bangs, but look more mature as though they've been grown out. They intrude less on the face and look as though they've been trained to the side with clip, portraying a more open personality to the skin, like they've pulled back their curtain to let you see the true them and take you into their trust. (This is just how I perceive it, although you might see different, so don't let me guide you!)


Curly parted bangs:



These bangs are perfect if you want your skin to not have actual bangs, but want the face to have shape and dimension. The bangs frame the face and the ends are curled for a neat finish ideal for a curly haired skin or anyone just wanting that finishing touch.


Straight double-sided bangs:



These bangs are similar to the last bangs but cover a bit more of the face and are straight, without the curled finish. They add shape to your skin's face without screaming "BANGS!" in other players' faces and making them leap backwards in alarm.


Front/full bangs:



With a youthful touch, this style of bangs will automatically make your skin look younger and more innocent. They are perfect for anime fans or people who love the full, front bangs style. One side of the bangs can be 'trimmed' in an editor to give them a slight lopsided look, or they can be kept as they are.


Longer front bangs:



Finally on my list are these. The style is similar to the previous with the idea of them being front bangs, but is longer for people who want less of a fringe and more of a full on pair of bangs.


Thank-you for reading and hope you found something you liked, even if you just got some inspiration from some of my designs or the idea to change the bangs on your skin. Obviously these bangs have only been shaded one way, and you can shade them however you want to personalise them and use whatever hair colour you wish. The example of the cliché bangs has been shaded differently to the rest, so that might give an unfair comparison, but I can always edit it later! :)

This is the second time I typed this thing out as my tab crashed, so I will likely edit it later, especially the descriptions of the first few bang styles.

All styles are originals by me and if you find them anywhere else, it was not my intention to copy anyone!
