I will most likely use this mod to further improve on my city when it is released in the furture :)
(The Map might be for download in the near future, but I'm worried others might try to make it their own.)

Builders:
From December 25th, 2013 to Janurary 20th, 2015 there were no other builders in this project but me. But on the 21st of January, 'Agustv' was the first official person to ever build something in this world besides me. Another talented person named 'sauron3k'has also helped me with building a couple of buildings in this world. I discovered them on C_B_John's fantastic Imperium1871 server where many other talented people can be spotted in action. (The IP to the server is Imperium1871.de)
Project and Goal:
The map is set in the year 2014 (present day). It is based so far in lower Manhattan, New York City.
What I want to accomplish with this project is to build all of Manhattan and more. I will try to do all of this work on my own and with the help of a few other people. In the future, I might try to turn my currently private build server into a public server where nobody can build, just to showcase. My plans are to move mostly just south but also a little bit of north for now, and finish the bottom of manhattan. I started building in December 25, 2013.
Added Manhattan's Terrain and slopes
For the longest time I've had many problems in this world but i've just ignored them. Now I'm going to fix them. For example, ever since I started this project, I've been ignoring the terrain of manhattan island. This was never going to work since many places require the terrain to be accurate to even be built. I've have now added terrain into this world!
Inspiration
Its obvious that my inspiration comes from New York city's architecture but any inspiration from another Minecraft project would go to C_B_John and his buddies' New York in Minecraft replica 1:1 from the 1940's.

(^This is C_B_John's project, not mine^)
More Videos on My Youtube Channel:
To get a better look inside of the nooks and crannies of the city, check out any of the videos that I have filmed over the past year at your will on my channel! My Youtube channel is: https://www.youtube.com/channel/aBitterMelon
Feel free to rate and subscribe! I have 5 videos (and more coming) on this very project!
Miscellaneous
Current tallest (official) building- Woolworth building at 241m (792ft)- built in 1913 (102 years ago!)
Oldest building- St pauls chapel- built in 1764 - 251 years old!
Most recent and significant building built- New York Federal post office building- 78m (256ft) tall- built in 1935 (80 years ago!)
World Trade Center
The reason The 'old' World trade Center (buildings 1 & 2) is still in the map is because 9/11 was a sad thing so in my universe it never happened. I'm still going to build the 'new' World Trade Center aswell.

You keep the old WTCs, but build the new ones around them, right? Like, the old WTCs will be in the place of the 9/11 memorial pools.
