Hey.
Ever feel that the Texture Update was too bold of a change? Maybe you enjoy JAPPA (and his team)'s sleeker, more traditional style of pixel art but miss the classic textures that defined the game for so many years. Well...
Introducing to you, a Familiar Texture Update

Everyone's interpretation is unique for what constitutes a "JAPPA-esque" texture as well as what defines the "classic" look of Minecraft. This project attempts to bend 1.14's new designs back to resembling the game's original art, without reverting away from the new art direction.
- "Updates?"
I try to do regular updates on this; some minor, some large. I encourage anybody to share thoughts about new changes and about the pack in general.
:)

Have something to say?
(=
The main textures I have quarrels with are the stone and wooden plank textures. With the stone, it appears too "lumpy", its mostly noticeable when its in large, flat areas. I can mostly attribute this to the large, slightly lighter streaks in the middle and top of the texture.
The second texture I am put a tiny bit off by is the wooden plank family of blocks, the little dots on the planks are in a somewhat distracting placement, I would recommend placing them in their original Programmer Art placements.
My favorite textures you have done are this current dandelion, the bucket family of textures and the dispenser back/piston base.
