This texture pack is required for most of my datapacks.
It does not overrides vanilla items.
Optifine Required Only For Custom Armors and minor features
CUSTOM HEALTH HUD:
The Xylo's Textures Resourcepack, deletes the vanilla health and armor bar to make place for the custom ones added by the Utility Datapack.with this custom health bar, all your hearts will be compacted in one line, and your actual number of hearts will be shown in a number above the armor bar.
To disable the health hud there are two steps
1) use "/trigger settings" and turn off the custom health hud
2) Open the resource pack folder and go to assets>minecraft>textures>gui and delete the icons.png image you find there.

THe UI is misplaced.. how do i resolve this problem?

So your best option is to give a custom nbt tag to an helmet and detect when it is in the head slot. When you detect it there, you can replace it with another armor piece with CustomModelData to show your 3d model. Then when you find this second item in the players inventory, you convert it back to the first item.
My Xylo's Utility Datapack has a section in it that makes it possible for me to create easly custom 3d helmets, and has an optimised code to do so. If you want to check it out download it and look for xylo_hats.

Are you sure you are putting the texture pack file in the resource pack folder?
(the texture pack is not turning the sword into a fishing rod. Is the dual wield datapack that does that when the sword is in the offhand, to make you able to swing it. The texture pack changes the texture back to the one of a sword)
