Do you often wish teapots could be constructed in Minecraft? Do you enjoy bonsai trees and rock gardens? Do screenshots of your creations appear when someone Googles "asian architecture" in an attempt to find reference photos for creating a texture pack? Make those screenshots complete with the Asian flavor of the Wolfhound Pack! This pack features textures influenced by China and Japan and a handful of textures from surrounding regions. While those are all distinct cultures, I wanted to use inspiration from all of them without building a separate pack for each, as making and maintaining a texture pack is a LOT of work. I used images of the Forbidden City for inspiration for the nether, while the villagers and paintings inspired by Japan, and the rest of the blocks and items are a mix of both. I did my best to shift through the internet to find good sources when looking for ideas!
Some things to note:
Looking for something a bit brighter? Try the Heavenly variant!
Looking for something a bit darker? Try the Dungeon variant!
Looking for something more ethereal? Try the Fairy variant!
Looking for something seasonal? Try the Seasons variant!
Looking for something shiny? Try the Fantasy variant!
Looking for something from the 13th century? Try the Classic Medieval variant.

What can I do with this pack?
And make sure you're following the TOS of anywhere you use it.
Some things to note:
- Decorated blocks do not have drawings. Rather, they're based off actual pottery, both historical and modern, that I encountered during my trip to Japan.
- Trims will not work. Since the armor is inspired by three different cultures, I just couldn't think of a way to make an accessory that would work for all the armors.

What can I do with this pack?
- use it in a Youtube video, include a link back to Wolfhound
- use it in a remix pack for redistribution, include credit and a link back to Wolfhound
- alter textures for a remix pack for redistribution, include credit and a link back to Wolfhound
- use (altered or unaltered) in a map for distribution, include credit and a link back to Wolfhound
- use it for any of the above purposes without first asking permission
- claim it as your own work
- put it under any sort of link that makes you money
- upload it to websites as a texture pack. In other words, don't go to some website that distributes texture packs that I'm not already on and upload it yourself. I need to retain control of this pack so I can keep it current.
And make sure you're following the TOS of anywhere you use it.

Update #36 : by ThistlePack 12/30/2023 10:04:53 pmDec 30th, 2023
Updated with the rest of the blocks.
The decorated blocks aren't decorated with drawings. Rather, I used photos from my recent trip to Japan as the basis for their designs. The friend I traveled with is really into pottery so it was a very pottery focused trip. We visited ancient kiln sights in Imbe, I learned a lot, we bought a lot of neat pottery, and I wanted the pots in this pack to reflect all that!
The trims won't work in this pack. They're all blank. The armor in this pack is inspired by three different cultures and I just couldn't think of a way to add accessories that would work with all the armor types. I decided to just preserve the original armor artwork instead.

EDIT: So further testing has revealed that trying to play with Forge is the problem. Not sure how but that's for me to figure out.
Your pack is working perfect and it looks amazing!
