I don't liked Glazed Terracotta. Let's fix it.

It was originally a failed experiment, because I thought you could change the opacity of other blocks..... Mojang patched this to kill x-ray texture packs.

Although the experiment failed, I noticed that it looks kind of cute. I originally made this, because I noticed in the Little Kelly roleplays, that the castle is decorated with different colored stained glass/decoration blocks. It turned out to be a modded block from Decocraft.

I think I should have used the actual stained glass decocraft texture instead of trying to make one, but it's cute. It's bright and amateur. I think it works. I might make a texture with real glass too.

I want to change the name of the block ingame, but I wasn't sure what to use, in case some of you are used to the words 'glazed terracotta'

I have more ideas with terracotta in the future.

i think it actually depends on the version of minecraft, since i know that making opaque blocks translucent was allowed before 1.14. the png files of this texture pack are slightly see-through but the opacity stays at 100% on all solid blocks... i think, if i transported this to glass, or even to things like slime, ice, and even sea lanterns (which i learned are apparently translucent today), then the design would be see-through

Good looking 🥂 (although I'm unwilling to give up either normal stained glass or glazed terracotta to add these).

Perhaps you would consider adding these as additional blocks in which case they could be made translucent (which I agree would look cool). [Don't ask me how, I'm still working on that myself. Probably requires mod or datapack, with neither of which am I yet competent.]

for glass yes, it works on any block that is slightly translucent; interestingly this also applies to ice!
