this is a 1.8.9 version to savn's vanilla-style texture improvements (glowstone, chests, diorite, etc) for anyone who may want it for that version :)

This texture pack updates some vanilla textures that I find to be kinda ugly.
Most changes are minor, though there are some exceptions, but all are in the vanilla game style and are unobtrusive.
For example, chests are wood are use the same colors as barrels, glowstone uses netherrack as a background to look more like an ore, and high-contrast blocks like diorite and bedrock are toned down. Some items, like cooked pork chops and baked potatoes, are also updated to look more like what they are.

This pack is mostly for my own preference, if there are textures you would like to remain the same feel free to delete them out of the pack after downloading.
