Since 1.13 Update Aquatic, Minecraft's panorama will reflect the update.
Each subsequent version uses a different panorama.
  • 1.13 Update Aquatic: The panorama is taken underwater, with kelp, coral, etc.
  • 1.14 Village & Pillage: The panorama is taken in new types of villages.
  • 1.15 Buzzy Bees: The panorama is taken near trees with bee nests and bees.
  • 1.16 Nether Update: The panorama is taken in the Nether, including biomes such as crimson forest, warped forest, soul sand valley, and more.
  • 1.17 Caves & Cliffs: Part I: The panorama is taken near the amethyst geodes.
  • 1.18 Caves & Cliffs: Part II: The panorama is taken on the ground with biomes like meadows, frozen peaks, snowy forests, and more.
  • 1.19 The Wild Update: The panorama is taken in the mangrove swamp with a mangrove boat with chest and a frog, etc.
Players who go back to play 1.12.2 or older will find that the panorama is the same for those versions.
In order to make those versions of panorama reflect their updates, I specially made this resource packs for all versions between Java Edition 1.6.1 to 1.12.2 (Don't ask me if I have made resource packs for1.13 or later. Please keep your eyes open to see if the panorama is different for each major version.):
  • 1.6 Horse Update: The panorama is taken on the plains with horses nearby.
  • 1.7 The Update that Changed the World: The panorama is taken in the flowered forest.
  • 1.8 Bountiful Update: The panorama is taken underwater with an ocean monument nearby.
  • 1.9 Combat Update: The panorama is taken on the outer islands of the End with an end city and an end ship nearby.
  • 1.10 Frostburn Update: The panorama is taken on the snowy plain with polar bears nearby.
  • 1.11 Exploration Update: The panorama is taken in the woodland mansion with vindicators and evokers nearby.
  • 1.12 World of Color Update: The panorama is taken in the jungle with parrots nearby.
