Lava Recolor Pack
For minecraft Java Edition - 1.17.1
Ever wished Soul Sand Valleys were even more blue? This add-on recolors lava and magma blocks in the nether to match the biome!
That's it to be honest. It just makes the nether a bit more varied.
The following biomes have been recolored
- Soul Sand Valleys: Blue
- Crimson Forest: Red
- Warped Forest: Purple
- Basalt Deltas: Gray
!! IMPORTANT !!
Optifine is REQUIRED.
This pack will NOT work without it!
Please make sure Custom Colors are turned ON in your quality settings as well!
The lava will be a pale purple everywhere otherwise.
UPDATE: for unknown reasons, this pack does NOT work with Sildur's Vibrant Shaders, or at least the lite edition.
If you have any version other than Lite please let me know if it works or not.
To Do maybe?
- Recolor for the End (black or white)

- edit and redistribute remixed versions of this pack, no credit needed.
I used to require credit, for the above, I don't need credited anymore. I don't own the concept of recolored lava

- Fixed the version numbering because why did i do that.
- Updated the main download to 1.17!
- Fixed cauldrons for the 1.17.1 version! They should match the biome they're in now. (thanks @Uncle Seamus!)
- Tweaked the lava colors so they're slightly brighter as your y coordinate decreases, instead of the other way around. It's hotter down there anyways, right?
